Privacy Policy

Overview

This is the personal portfolio and blog of Ayman Azougar. It has no user accounts, no database, and no server-side storage of personal data — the site itself does not collect or retain anything about you. The sections below explain the small number of third-party services embedded in the site and what they do.

What's collected, and by whom

Google Analytics (GA4)

Google Analytics only loads after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you accept, it's processed by Google and used to understand aggregate site traffic — pages viewed, approximate location and device type, and referral source. If you decline or don't make a choice, Google Analytics never loads and no analytics cookies are set. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights

This site is hosted on Vercel, which runs its own cookie-less analytics to measure page performance and aggregate traffic. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you individually, so it runs regardless of your cookie choice above. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Google Calendar

The "Book a free 15-min call" buttons on this site link out to a Google Calendar booking page. That page is not part of this site — anything you submit there (your name, email, and booking details) is collected and processed directly by Google under Google's Privacy Policy, not by me.

That's the complete list. There is no contact form on this site, no newsletter signup, and no other cookies, trackers, or analytics beyond what's described above.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal data any of the services above hold about you, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your analytics consent at any time — use the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer to do that instantly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; as this site is run from Poland, that's the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO).

Data retention

This site doesn't retain any personal data itself. Any data held by Google Analytics, Vercel, or Google Calendar is retained according to their own policies, linked above — not something this site controls.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 16, and it does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes to the site or the services it uses. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
